Devon Carers enable carers (including those unpaid) to maintain their own health, wellbeing and independence; and to care safely, confidently and effectively. They provide carers with the information and advice they need in their caring role and help carers find support in their community and from local community organisations.

For unpaid carers, Devon and Cornwall Police have agreed that they will recognise the Devon Carers Alert Card as a form of identification for being an unpaid carer. Carers can apply for a card online https://devoncarers.org.uk/how-do-i-apply/ or by calling their helpline.
