The Gardener’s Collective

The Gardener’s Collective is a community gardening project based at Home Farm, Arlington Court, with a focus on encouraging connection with nature through exploration of the garden. They aim to give people of all ages the opportunities and confidence to give growing a go, inspiring a love of the natural environment whilst reaping the physical and mental benefits of engaging with the outdoors.

Gardening for Good

The Gardener’s Collective are running a new programme, Gardening for Good, funded by the National Lottery Awards for all, which offers 6 sessions of gardening activities including:

  • Learning how to grow your own veg and herbs
  • Crafts using natural materials
  • Gardening skills
  • Mini DIY projects (for example building your own planter)

The project is offering patients registered with all four of the Barnstaple Alliance PCN medical centres the opportunity to join a free 6 week programme of bespoke gardening sessions.

All course materials and refreshments are included in the programme. Those attending will be able to take home seeds, plants and projects they have created.

The sessions will start on Thursday 24th April, and will be held from 13:00 – 14:30. Spaces are limited to 10-15 participates.

Opportunities for subsidisation of transport costs is available if needed.
